The UBA Committee Discussed the Prospects of Global Law Firms Entering the Ukrainian Market

On October 31, 2024, the UBA International Law Committee held a meeting on «Rebuilding and entering (re-entering) the Ukrainian market: the perspective of global law firms».

During the event, the participants discussed issues related to the current investment climate in Ukraine for foreign companies, the main legal challenges for foreign investors, and the role of global law firms in supporting clients in the Ukrainian market.

The main topics of the meeting included promising sectors for foreign investment during the country's reconstruction and practical advice for companies planning to enter or return to the Ukrainian market.

The meeting was moderated by Vladyslav Bandrovsky, Deputy Chairman of the UBA International Law Committee and associate at Sayenko Kharenko. The speakers were Pavlo Bogachenko, Senior Associate at DLA Piper (Dublin), and Volodymyr Yaremko, Senior Associate at Mayer Brown (London).
