The Ukrainian Bar Association invites all interested parties to the presentation of the results of Phase 2 of the project "The trial monitoring in war crimes cases", implemented by the Ukrainian Bar Association (UBA) under a grant agreement with the USAID Human Rights in Action Program, implemented by the Ukrainian Helsinki Human Rights Union (UHHRU).
The International Bar Association (IBA) and the International Bar’s Association Human Rights Institute (IBAHRI) cooperate with the UBA on the implementation of the project, providing expertise and technical assistance on international law and human rights issues.

Purpose of the Monitoring:
- Analysis of the new judicial practices regarding the consideration of war crimes by Ukrainian courts.
- Forming an understanding of the compliance of judicial practices with international standards regarding the right to a fair trial.
- If any shortcomings are identified, draw the legal practitioners's attention to them and develop recommendations on possible ways to address them.
