Summary of the UBA Board meeting: Vice President’s report, 2025 budget, and updates on organizing committees

On January 28, 2025, the Ukrainian Bar Association’s Board held its latest meeting to review key organizational and strategic matters. 

The session began with a report by Tetiana Lysovets, UBA Vice President, who reflected on her work in this role, highlighted the activities of UBA committees, and shared insights on the association’s future initiatives. 

Board member Inna Krushynska and UBA project management advisor Kateryna Pyshchyk presented the outcomes of the "Support for the Reform of Ukraine’s Occupational Classifier" project, which resulted in the development of professional standards for judges, prosecutors, and legal advisors. Ivan Horodyskyy, UBA Vice President, contributed to the discussion by raising the issue of legal education reform. 

UBA Executive Director Viktoriia Krasnova presented the association’s 2025 budget, which was subsequently approved by the Board. 

The Board also approved amendments to the "Regulation on the Organization of Key Events", revising the approach to forming organizing committees. The updated framework was introduced by Tetiana Osaulenko, Head of Partner Programs Development and Conference Direction, who presented the proposed changes for approval. 

UBA Board remains committed to advancing its strategic priorities, supporting the legal community, and strengthening the rule of law in Ukraine.
