Free ELI membership — a great opportunity for Ukrainian lawyers!
The European Law Institute (ELI) offers Ukrainian lawyers a fantastic opportunity — free ELI membership!
According to the decision by the Institute's Council, ELI does not require Ukrainian members to pay membership fees and refrains from issuing membership invoices to them so long as the war continues.
You can apply for ELI membership via this link. More information about individual membership in ELI can be found on the Institute's website.
As a reminder, the UBA recently joined the European Law Institute as an institution, however the National Ukrainian Hub of ELI was established in March 2022 and is actively involved in different international projects. Ukrainian legal experts unite and represent a strong Ukraine on the international stage.
Background: The ELI is an independent, non-profit organization with its headquarters in Vienna, Austria, founded in 2011. The Institute was established to initiate, conduct and facilitate research, make recommendations and to provide practical guidance in the field of European legal development. The ELI’s scope includes the evolution of European law by the European Union and the Council of Europe, as well as various areas of domestic and international law.
More information about the ELI can be found on its website.
