UBA has joined the European Law Institute

The Ukrainian Bar Association is proud to announce its membership in the European Law Institute (ELI). This is a significant step towards further integration and cooperation within the European legal community.

ELI is an independent non-profit organization founded in 2011 and headquartered in Vienna, Austria. The Institute was established to initiate, conduct and facilitate research, make recommendations and to provide practical guidance in the field of European legal development. The ELI’s scope includes the evolution of European law by the European Union and the Council of Europe, as well as various areas of domestic and international law.

Since its foundation, ELI has striven at enhancing the community of legal professionals throughout Europe and beyond. As an institutional member, the UBA will have the opportunity to contribute to the work of the European Law Institute by suggesting new projects, participating in the activities of Hubs and Special Interest Groups (SIGs), and collaborating with other ELI Members on existing initiatives.

In addition, the UBA can nominate an individual to join a Members Consultative Committee (MCC) to help achieve results in the institute's projects by providing valuable feedback and recommendations to project teams. ELI membership also provides the UBA with the opportunity to establish contacts with renowned legal experts.

More information about the European Law Institute can be found on its website.
