Artificial intelligence and responsibility: a new paradigm in international regulation

The IT, Media and Personal Data Protection Committee invites you to take part in the online event “Artificial Intelligence and Responsibility: A New Paradigm in International Regulation” to be held on April 17, 2025.
Artificial intelligence is becoming increasingly important in all spheres of human life. It increasingly influences decision-making and creates new challenges for the legal system. Who is responsible for the actions of algorithms? How are approaches to guilt, harm, and legal personality changing? And what international initiatives are already shaping new regulatory standards? During the webinar, we will review key approaches to legal liability in the field of AI, compare regulatory models of the EU, the US and other jurisdictions, and discuss whether the law is ready for the new technological reality.

Veronika Myltseva, PhD, MBA, a lawyer with over 10 years of experience in international corporate and tax structuring, legal support of IT projects and intellectual property. She specializes in legal regulation of artificial intelligence, including the implementation of AI solutions, risk assessment, and personal data processing. Participant in projects of the Ministry of Digital Transformation, trained in the Huderia methodology together with the Alan Turing Institute. She is a lecturer of leading Ukrainian universities, UBA and KSE.
