Presentation of the Ukrainian Edition of Lawyering Peace

The Ukrainian Bar Association invites you to the presentation of the Ukrainian edition of Dr. Paul R. Williams' book Lawyering Peace, published under the title The Path to Reconciliation: How Law Shapes a Lasting Peace.
The event will take place on 22 July in Kyiv and online. This is the second public event in Ukraine dedicated to the launch of this landmark publication.
Venue: Kyiv (exact address will be provided in the participation confirmation email) and online
Format: In-person and online
Languages: Ukrainian and English (simultaneous interpretation will be provided)
The publication was prepared by the Ukrainian Bar Association with the support of the International Renaissance Foundation. The book reflects the author’s views and does not necessarily represent the position of the Foundation.
The Ukrainian edition was also supported by the publishing house Creative Agency “Artil” (publishing coordination) and the Ukrainian Publishers and Booksellers Association (distribution support).
About the book
The Path to Reconciliation: How Law Shapes a Lasting Peace is the Ukrainian edition of the internationally acclaimed Lawyering Peace. The book offers an in-depth analysis of key challenges in drafting peace agreements. The author presents practical legal and diplomatic tools for addressing the root causes of armed conflict and building sustainable peace. This work will be of interest to lawyers, diplomats, military personnel, scholars, and anyone engaged in issues of peace, security, and international law.
