The UBA Intellectual Property Committee invites you to attend the online event “Confirmation of Use of Registered Trademarks in the United States”, which will be held on January 14, 2025.

Issues to be discussed:

1. Declarations of use:

• For trademarks registered under the Madrid Protocol.
• For trademarks registered under the national procedure.

2. Flexibility in filing:

• Possibility to extend the filing deadlines.

3. Consequences of non-submission:

• What happens if declarations of use are not filed on time?

4. What to do if:

• The business does not use the TM for part or all of the registered list of goods and services.

Additionally, we will talk about changes in trademark registration fees that come into force in 2025 and their impact on businesses and rights holders.
