TRADE AND HEALTH: WTO INITIATIVES TO COMBAT COVID-19

The UBA International Trade Law Committee invites for participation in the expert discussion on trade and health issues raised within the framework of the WTO Members' work in reaction to the COVID-19 virus outbreak.

The following important initiatives will be addressed:

-        joint ministerial declarations,

-        Trade and Health Initiative by the Ottawa Group, and

-        WTO COVID-19 TRIPS Waiver Proposals.

We will discuss the role of international trade in promoting access to drugs and vaccines, touch upon the production and supply thereof and assess perspectives of Ukraine in the field. 

The event will be held in Ukrainian and English.
