Invitation to an ICC Workshop for legal communities from Georgia and Countries of nearby regions, 26 October 2018, Tbilisi
The aim of the Workshop is to familiarize the lawyers with the mandate of the International Criminal Court (ICC), its structure and ongoing procedures, as well as encourage them to apply for inclusion on the List of counsel and List of assistants to counsel. The ICC encourages the nomination of qualified female lawyers in particular, and can provide financial support to help cover expenses related to the travel and stay of the nominated participants (maximum 3). Please refer to the concept note and draft program for more details.
This Workshop will be conducted in English; no interpretation in Ukrainian will be provided.
Participants to the workshop should meet the following requirements:
- Good knowledge of the English language,
- Established competence in international or criminal law and procedure,
- Minimum experience of 8 years to register to the ICC list of Associate Counsels, and 10 years to register to the ICC list of Counsels.
