PRESENTATION OF THE QUEEN MARY UNIVERSITY OF LONDON PROJECT FOR THE PROVISION OF TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE IN THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A SPECIALIZED IP COURT IN UKRAINE

The Intellectual Property Committee of the Ukrainian Bar Association has the pleasure of inviting you to participate in the meeting with the working group of the Queen Mary University of London Project for the provision of technical assistance in the establishment of a specialized IP court in Ukraine with the support of the Government of the United Kingdom and the British Embassy in Ukraine.
The working group visits Kyiv with the purpose to familiarize with the problems of the IP-related justice and the vision of the newly established IP court.
- Judicial reform and the establishment of a specialized IP court;
- Competitive tender for training of newly elected judges;
- Gaps in IP proceedings;
- Consideration of IP cases under the new Commercial Procedure Code;
- International experience and practice of specialized IP courts in international jurisdictions and possibilities of implementation of this practice in Ukrainian realities.
