On 05 October 2013 the European Branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) supported by ARBITRADE Attorneys at Law will conduct a one day mediation course “Introductory Course in Mediation” for the first time in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Participants of the Course will be introduced to the “What, When and How” of mediation as well as to the mediation process as a whole. The training will include a series of presentations and discussions which will present a broad view of mediation in the modern world, as well as will address different processes, types and models of mediation.

The Course will enable participants to gain internationally recognised professional qualification in dispute resolution, which ultimately can lead to Fellowship with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Course participants who are successful in completing the Course Assignment will be able to apply for CIArb Associate Membership.

The course will be taught by Mr. Corrado Mora MCIArb and Mr. Deniz Ogretir FCIArb who represent the best of mediation training and techniques from Italy and the Netherlands respectively as well as Ms.Yuliya Chernykh, C.Arb, partner with ARBITRADE. Mr. Corrado Mora is a lawyer and an independent, ad hoc mediator practicing in Italy, a member of the panels of neutrals of the National and International Chambers of Arbitration of Milan and Venice, of the Chambers of Commerce of Verona and Florence and, finally, of the Mediation Centre (OVMF) created by the Bar Association of Verona. Mr Deniz Ogretir is the Netherlands Mediation Institute (NMI) register mediator, and Peer reviewer for the NMI, a specialist in conflict management practicing in the Netherlands.

The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators is one of the world’s leading centres for the development of arbitration, mediation and other forms of dispute resolution at all levels. The Institute was founded in 1915 and now has over 12,500 members in more than 100 countries. The European Branch is an approved provider of the Institute’s Courses.
