What is common among Yulia Tymoshenko, Pavlo Lazarenko, Dmytro Firtash, Yuri Lutsenko, NAK Naftogaz, and Delta Bank? The answer is that they have all been parties to U.S. legal proceedings. What were the key legal issues in these proceedings? How the U.S. court system could be used to assert parties rights? Are U.S. Courts political? Can you write a letter to the U.S. judge if you are a party in the U.S. court proceedings? What you should and should not do if you or your company is named as a defendant in the U.S. court proceedings? How U.S. Courts decide whether to take the case? How can U.S. courts help in obtaining documents and testimony in Ukrainian cases?
These and many other questions will be answered by the speakers in this interactive seminar.
Attendees are invited to submit questions in advance at events@uba.ua.
