Professional development program “Tomorrow’s Lawyer”

The Program “Tomorrow’s Lawyer” – is the first nation-wide program of professional development for advocates, found on the best domestic and international practices.

This program is designed for the ambitious and self-motivated advocates from all over Ukraine, who:

  • Practicing advocacy for more than two years;
  • Active in public sphere;
  • Engaged in the processes of reform and improvement of the legal aid system in Ukraine;
  • Have own opinion and ideas on the justice system improvement;
  • Conscious and responsible leaders in the professional community;
  • Have a strong commitment to contribute to the improvement of the legal system in Ukraine.

The Program trainees will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop the skills necessary to effectively provide legal assistance according to the best international practices;
  • Enhance effective communication skills;
  • Develop leadership skills;
  • Become a part of the community of like-minded professionals;
  • Strengthen the ability to foster reforms in the justice sector.

The program consists of four training modules:

  • Work with clients;
  • Interaction with colleagues  - procedural opponents in court;
  • Communication within the legal communityі;
  • Public relations and interaction with media.

 

Training schedule: 

Start of the training – February 2017

 

Four three-day sessions during the year of 2017

The training will take place in Kyiv, Odesa and Lviv
