The crimes of the Russian Federation, committed from February to July 2022 in Ukraine, are documented in the Second, supplemented, report of the Global Accountability Network

The Ukraine Task Force of The Global Accountability Network (GAN UTF) has published an updated Report on war crimes, crimes against humanity, and crimes of aggression committed by the Russian Federation (RF) against Ukraine (second edition). The report was prepared with the assistance of the Ukrainian Bar Association.

Among other points, the document describes the international legal mechanisms for bringing the Russian Federation to justice, identifies the persons responsible for the committed crimes, and forms examples of indictments against the highest military and political leadership of the Russian Federation.

The report calls on the international community to respond to violations of international law by using existing accountability mechanisms.

The text of the Report can be found here.

The Global Accountability Network is a network of prosecutors, lawyers, scientists, and other experts, as well as students, who collect and analyze information from open sources about international crimes. GAN continues to focus on events in Syria, Yemen, Venezuela, China, and now Ukraine. The Ukrainian Bar Association supports GAN's efforts to gather information about crimes committed by the Russian Federation in Ukraine and to widely disseminate such information to the international community, and also provides expert and volunteer assistance to GAN UTF investigative activities.

The first edition of the Report is available here.
