The Law Society of Ireland has launched a number of support programs and initiatives to help Ukraine during the crisis due to Russia's military invasion of Ukraine.

On its website, the Law Society published information on sanctions against Russia and Belarus and Recommended approach to ensuring compliance with these sanctions (restrictive measures).

The LSI also initiated the following activities:

• Donations and fundraising to help Ukraine
• Pro Bono Support
• Professional training for Ukrainian lawyers
