March 29-30, 2023 | Ukraine: where are we now? Legal consequences of a year of the full-scale aggression
Russia’s aggression against Ukraine is a major violation of public international law. It has also created geopolitical and economic shock waves whose consequences will be felt in areas of international legal practice ranging from human rights to international investment, trade, and commercial disputes.
Legal practitioners internationally and in the region share a vital interest in understanding the current situation, how to advise clients on its future implications, and in finding possible ways of contributing to a better tomorrow and stronger rule of law internationally.
The International Section of the New York State Bar Association, through its Polish and Ukrainian Chapters, has decided to organize a one-day conference to bring together legal and business professionals to discuss and learn about these matters of great importance.
The conference will provide a great platform for exchanging knowledge and experience, for building meaningful relationships and for showing our unity against injustice.
