The EYBA SUMMER CONFERENCE & AGM was held in Strasbourg on June 23-25, during which the creation of the Eastern Regional Cooperation Committee of the European Association of Young Lawyers was approved.

At the event, the UBA Forum of Young Lawyers was represented by the UBA COO, Viktoriya Krasnova.

The committee included representatives of Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine.

As part of the committee's activities, it is envisaged to support the legal profession by creating networks of young lawyers to strengthen their regional cooperation based on European professional standards.

A representative of the UBA Forum of Young Lawyers joined the Committee of the European Association of Young Lawyers for Eastern Regional Cooperation.

The establishment of the Committee was jointly initiated by the EYBA and the regional project of the Council of Europe "Strengthening the legal profession in accordance with European standards", financed by the European Union and the Council of Europe within the framework of the EU/CoE Program "Partnership for Good Governance" (PGG).
