The election process for the governing bodies of the UBA has concluded!

On June 27, 2025, during the meeting of the Legal Assembly — the highest representative body of the Ukrainian Bar Association, which this time took place in Kyiv — the Association reported on the previous term and elected new governing bodies.

In accordance with the Statute, UBA President Mykola Stetsenko presented the organization’s 2023/2025 annual report, along with the two-year activity report of the President and Vice President.

Among the key areas developed by the team were: strengthening the rule of law, promoting ethical conduct and practices in the legal market, enhancing the institutional capacity of the Association, and expanding legal knowledge and skills among youth. The UBA Legal Assembly unanimously approved the Annual Report of the President, Vice President, and the Ukrainian Bar Association.

Following this, candidates for the positions of President, Vice President, and members of the UBA Board briefly presented their programs.

At the conclusion of the regular XXII meeting of the UBA Legal Assembly, the results of the election process for the Association’s governing bodies were announced.

Mykola Stetsenko, Managing Partner at AVELLUM, was re-elected President of the Ukrainian Bar Association.

Tetiana Lysovets, Senior Partner at “Sokolovskyi and Partners” Law Firm, was elected Vice President.

The newly elected UBA Board members representing regional branches include:

• Oleksii Didkovskiy, Co-Managing Partner at Asters
• Maryan Martynyuk, Senior Partner at MORIS Law Firm

• Svitlana Serhieieva, Partner at "Serhieievs Legal Bureau"
• Zlata Symonenko, Counsel at Sayenko Kharenko
• Illia Tkachuk, Senior Partner at INTEGRITES

Representing the UBA Sections, the following individuals were elected to the new Board:

• Denys Bugay, Founding Partner, Head of White-Collar Crime Practice at VB PARTNERS
• Oleksii Boniuk, Head of the Department of Criminal Law Policy and Investment Protection at the Prosecutor General’s Office
• Ivan Horodyskyi, Associate Professor at the Ukrainian Catholic University
• Illia Kostin, Serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
• Volodymyr Marchenko, President of the Notary Chamber of Ukraine
• Viktoriia Ohryza, Head of Legal Department at PepsiCo Ukraine
• Oleksandra Yanovska, Judge of the Supreme Court

The members elected to the Audit Commission are:
