How AI is transforming legal practice: a series of webinars by the UBA (VIDEOS)

The UBA Committee on IT, Media and Personal Data Protection recently hosted a series of online events dedicated to the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in legal practice. Across five webinars, participants explored key aspects of integrating AI into the legal field. 

The webinars were led by Veronika Myltseva, a UBA member and senior associate at the Technology and Investment Practice of Juscutum. 

The program covered the following topics (links to webinar recordings in Ukrainian are provided below): 

  1. How Neural Networks Work — Participants learned about types of AI, how they operate, and how to craft prompts for obtaining relevant information (held on October 15). 
  2. Artificial Intelligence and Intellectual Property — This webinar explored legal aspects of using AI in the field of intellectual property (October 22). 
  3. AI, Confidentiality, and Ethics — Participants examined challenges related to data confidentiality and ethical considerations (November 12). 
  4. AI in Contract Analysis — This session focused on leveraging AI for analyzing court decisions and drafting legal documents (November 19). 
  5. AI and the Future of the Legal Profession — Attendees discussed how AI is reshaping the legal profession (November 26). 

The webinar series sparked significant interest among legal professionals eager to explore the opportunities and challenges of using AI in their practice.
