UBA General Partners recognized in The Legal 500 EMEA 2025

The Ukrainian Bar Association extends its sincere congratulations to its general partners on their notable professional achievement — inclusion in The Legal 500 EMEA 2025 ranking. This recognition once again reaffirms the high level of legal expertise demonstrated by the leading law firms we proudly unite.

AVELLUM

AVELLUM has been recommended in 12 practice areas, with Tier 1 rankings in banking, finance and capital markets; commercial, corporate and M&A; competition; dispute resolution; employment; private client; real estate and construction; tax; and white-collar crime. The firm was also recognised in energy, intellectual property, and international trade (Tier 2). Thirteen lawyers received individual accolades, including ten partners listed as Hall of Fame, Leading Individuals, or Next Generation Partners.

Aequo

Aequo retained its Tier 1 rankings in 11 practice areas: dispute resolution; banking, finance and capital markets; commercial, corporate and M&A; competition; employment; energy; intellectual property; international trade; private client; real estate and construction; and tax. Twenty-one lawyers received individual recognition, with three named in the Hall of Fame.

Asters

Asters remains the only law firm in Ukraine ranked in Tier 1 across all 12 practice areas researched by The Legal 500 EMEA 2025. The firm leads the market with 24 individually ranked lawyers — the highest number among all Ukrainian firms.

INTEGRITES

INTEGRITES doubled the number of its Tier 1 practice areas — now totaling eight — which include banking, finance and capital markets; commercial, corporate and M&A; competition; employment; private client; dispute resolution; energy; and tax. Fifteen lawyers were individually recognised, including four appearing in the ranking for the first time.

LCF Law Group

LCF maintained strong positions in dispute resolution, banking and finance, commercial, corporate and M&A, and energy (all Tier 2), as well as in tax and white-collar crime (Tier 3). The firm’s leading practitioners received individual recognition, particularly in dispute resolution, banking and tax.

MORIS

MORIS has been ranked in five areas: commercial, corporate and M&A; tax; dispute resolution; and private client (all Tier 3), and white-collar crime (Tier 4). These results confirm the firm’s stable presence among Ukraine’s established legal market players.

Sayenko Kharenko

Sayenko Kharenko reaffirmed its status as a leading law firm in Ukraine, achieving Tier 1 rankings in ten key practice areas: banking, finance and capital markets; commercial, corporate and M&A; competition; dispute resolution; energy; international trade; private client; real estate and construction; tax; and white-collar crime. The firm was also recognised in employment (Tier 2) and intellectual property (Tier 3). In 2025, 20 of the firm's lawyers received a total of 23 individual recognitions — a testament to the strength and depth of its team.

VB PARTNERS

VB PARTNERS maintained its top-tier position in white-collar crime (Tier 1), while also being recommended in international trade (Tier 3), dispute resolution (Tier 3), and tax (Tier 4). Several of the firm’s lawyers were recognised for their individual expertise.

Sokolovskyi and Partners

Sokolovskyi and Partners was recognised in three key practice areas: tax, energy, and white-collar crime. The firm continues to be distinguished for its consistent level of high-quality expertise across these sectors.

We are proud to unite successful and highly professional teams that shape the future of the legal profession in Ukraine. Congratulations to our partners on this well-deserved international recognition!
