Help lawyers affected by war: another lawyer becomes an Honorary Patron of the UBA

The Ukrainian Bar Association is honored and pleased to announce that Vasileios Triantafyllou, attorney-at-law, certified arbitrator, maritime lawyer, immigration specialist, has become the next Honorary Patron to help lawyers affected by the war.

The option of honorary patronage in the UBA has been open to foreign lawyers since 2022. By paying a charitable contribution, you help Ukrainian lawyers who have suffered as a result of the full-scale Russian invasion. These are dozens of Ukrainian lawyers who have been injured, lost their homes, and are left alone with their grief. These are our colleagues who are unable to provide for their livelihoods because of the hostilities. The UBA would also like to support the families of lawyers who have lost their children, parents, and loved ones as a result of the Russian armed aggression.

The Ukrainian Bar Association sincerely thanks Vasileios Triantafyllou for his contribution to this noble cause!

What we offer to Honorary Patrons as a sign of gratitude:

  • status of the UBA Honorary Patron (Certificate);
  • regular updates in English on UBA activities and documents (statements, news, events, etc.);
  • access to information on Ukrainian lawyers, an opportunity to find partners in Ukraine;
  • publication of information about an Honorary Patron on the UBA resources;
  • regular reports on the funds used.

To become an Honorary Patron, please make an annual contribution of EUR 300 or more.
