UBA members appointed to working groups preparing Ukraine’s EU accession negotiation positions

The Ukrainian Bar Association is proud to announce that several of its members have been appointed to working groups tasked with shaping Ukraine’s negotiation positions in talks with the European Union regarding the country’s accession agreement.

We firmly believe that active public involvement in crafting the state’s negotiation stances will enhance the effectiveness of the negotiation process while ensuring transparency for all stakeholders.

In this regard, UBA representatives have been appointed to the following working groups: 

  • Freedom of Establishment and Provision of Services: Mykola Stetsenko, UBA President. 
  • Free Movement of Capital: Serhii Benedysiuk, Member of the Board of the UBA Corporate Law and Stock Market Committee. 
  • Public Procurement: Olha Terefienko, Chair of the UBA Compliance Committee. 
  • Intellectual Property Rights: Tetiana Kharebava, Chair of the UBA Intellectual Property Committee. 
  • Financial Services: Oleh Parakuda, Member of the Board of the UBA Banking, Finance, and Insurance Law Committee. 
  • Transport Policy: Maksym Maksymenko, Chair of the UBA Real Estate and Infrastructure Committee. 
  • Energy: Ivan Bondarchuk, Chair of the UBA Energy, Oil, and Gas Committee. 
  • Taxation: Tetiana Lysovets, UBA Vice President. 
  • Economic and Monetary Policy: Mariya-Khrystyna Kozii, Member of the Board of the UBA International Trade Law Committee. 
  • Entrepreneurship and Industrial Policy: Maryan Martyniuk, UBA Board Member. 
  • Judiciary and Fundamental Rights: Serhii Hryshko, Chair of the UBA Procedural Law Committee. 
  • Justice, Freedom, and Security: Dmytro Yevdokymov, Chair of the Kyiv Branch of UBA and Chair of the Constitutional, Administrative Law, and Human Rights Committee. 
  • Science and Research: Roman Radeyko, Chair of the UBA Scientists & Scholars Section. 
  • Education and Culture: Roman Radeyko, Chair of the UBA Scientists & Scholars Section. 
  • Environment, Climate Change, and Civil Protection: Nataliia Gutarevych, Chair of the UBA Natural Resources, Environmental, and Ecology Law Committee. 
  • Customs Union: Iryna Pavlenko, Member of the Board of the UBA International Trade Law Committee. 
  • External Relations: Olesia Kryvetska, Chair of the UBA International Trade Law Committee. 
  • Foreign Policy, Security, and Defense Policy: Illia Kostin, UBA Board Member. 
  • Financial Oversight: Maryan Martyniuk, UBA Board Member. 
  • Functioning of Democratic Institutions: Ivan Horodyskyy, UBA Vice President.
