Today, 8 days after the commencement of an aggressive war of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus against Ukraine, the civilian population of Ukraine suffers from war crimes and crimes against humanity. Despite the strong resistance of the Ukrainian Army, economic and financial sanctions imposed by various countries of the world, the aggressor army continues to attack and continues shelling residential neighbourhoods, infrastructure, medical and humanitarian buildings from weapons prohibited by the Geneva Conventions.

We urge the United States of America, the European Union and Governments of European countries to impose additional sanctions without delay, including full gas and oil embargo, the complete disconnect of Russian and Belarusian banks from SWIFT, and closing the sky over Ukraine.
