The Ukrainian legal community today, after Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, is directing maximum efforts to prove that the rule of law exists and that all war criminals will be brought to justice.

The Ukrainian Bar Association, which has formed a strong and independent legal organization over 20 years of its activity, takes all measures to counteract the aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine on the legal front.

It's really not easy. And we need support.

To be able to continue its activities, the UBA opened the door for lawyers from other countries - lawyers can become international members of the Association, as well as sponsor the membership of Ukrainian lawyers in the UBA by paying their fees.

So, among UBA international members already are IBA Executive Director Mark Ellis, partner of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP and former chairman of the International Section of NYSBA Edward R. Lenci, Executive Director of The American College of Financial Services Maguire Center for Ethics, Chairman of the International Section of NYSBA Azish Filabi, partner of Lamb & Barnosky, LLP, former NYSBA President Scott Karson, co-founder of The Guernica 37 Group and co-chair of Guernica 37 Chambers Toby Cadman, as well as other international lawyers that we will introduce to you on our resources.

We are open to cooperation and invite all international lawyers to support the UBA, become part of the legal community of Ukraine, and join a great cause in the fight against Russian aggression and the implementation of justice.

The option is available to all foreign lawyers who wish to support and join the activities of the UBA. What we offer:

• regular updates in English on UBA activities and documents (statements, news, events, etc.)
• access to information on Ukrainian lawyers, an opportunity to find partners in Ukraine
• 1 free ticket to any of the UBA international conferences
• an opportunity to hold events and consult with the UBA Committees on any issues of Ukrainian law or practice
