UBA invites its members to join the work of the Public Anti-Corruption Council at the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has announced a competition to establish a Public Anti-Corruption Council. This Council, comprising 15 members, will be elected through a public rating vote and aims to strengthen anti-corruption efforts within the defense sector. 

The Ukrainian Bar Association (UBA) is entitled to nominate three candidates for the Public Anti-Corruption Council selection process. Candidates will be selected by the UBA Board in line with the Regulations on Participation in Public Councils.

To apply, please complete the application form by 6:00 PM on November 13, 2024.

Candidate requirements:

  • Hold a higher education degree, ideally in law, economics, finance, public administration, crisis communications, journalism, auditing, or a related field.
  • Possess at least two years of experience in relevant fields or public service.
  • Have no criminal record and no history of involvement in corruption-related offenses.
  • Be registered for military service in compliance with the Law of Ukraine "On Military Duty and Military Service."
