UBA expresses condolences on the passing of a great friend of Ukraine, Morgan Williams
The Ukrainian Bar Association deeply regrets to learn of the passing of Morgan Williams at the age of 84, the President of the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC), an eminent leader and sincere friend of Ukraine.
We will always remember Mr. Williams' tireless work to strengthen U.S.-Ukraine relations, a commitment that spanned over 30 years. Thanks to his efforts, the USUBC became a key driver in the development of economic and business cooperation between Ukraine and the USA.
Under Morgan Williams' leadership, the USUBC facilitated American investments in the Ukrainian economy, implemented best business practices, improved conditions for bilateral trade and investments, and significantly contributed to building strong and friendly ties between the two countries.
Mr. Williams consistently supported the Ukrainian people, cared deeply for their fate, and advocated for Ukraine in American business and government circles. He frequently emphasized the role of economic cooperation in strengthening democracy and ensuring the prosperity of our country, actively supporting reforms aimed at increasing transparency and efficiency in Ukrainian state governance.
The death of Morgan Williams is a great loss for us all, but his memory will remain in our hearts, and his legacy will live on in our joint projects.
The Ukrainian Bar Association extends its sincerest condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of Morgan Williams.
