UBA and IP Office strengthen cooperation in the field of intellectual property rights protection
On Thursday, September 5, the Ukrainian Bar Association (UBA) and the Ukrainian National Office for Intellectual Property and Innovations (UANIPIO, IP Office) signed a memorandum of cooperation. The partners agreed to collaborate more closely and work together in the field of intellectual property rights protection in Ukraine.
"The signing of the memorandum between the Ukrainian Bar Association and the IP Office is an important step forward in our fruitful and long-term cooperation. We are confident that our joint efforts will not only strengthen the protection of intellectual property rights but also contribute to the development of innovative solutions that address contemporary challenges," stated Mykola Stetsenko, President of the UBA.
"Ukraine has great potential to become an innovative and technological state: we have the human capital needed to achieve this. However, this development is impossible without a robust intellectual property sector, its promotion, and well-trained professionals. We are grateful to the UBA for joining us in this collaboration," emphasized Olena Orliuk, Head of the IP Office.
The UBA and the IP Office will work together on organizing events focused on intellectual property, innovations, and IP mediation. Representatives from both organizations will be involved in these events, as well as in projects initiated by the UBA and the IP Office.
