UBA and the Solar Energy Association of Ukraine Sign Cooperation Memorandum
The Ukrainian Bar Association (UBA) has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Solar Energy Association of Ukraine. The document was signed on July 5, 2024, during the IV Energy Law Conference.
Mykola Stetsenko, UBA President and Managing Partner of AVELLUM, and Vladyslav Sokolovskyi, Managing Partner of Sokolovskyi and Partners Law Firm and Chairman of the Board of the Solar Energy Association of Ukraine, signed the memorandum.
“Today, we are taking an important step forward in strengthening cooperation between key players in the energy market… This partnership will help us establish closer ties with representatives of renewable energy producers and support the development of green energy in our country,” said Mykola Stetsenko.
“I hope we will find synergy between the legal profession and representatives of the solar energy sector, and that our continued cooperation will bring benefits to the market, the legal community, and the energy industry, especially solar energy,” emphasized Vladyslav Sokolovskyi.
Background: The Solar Energy Association of Ukraine is the largest professional organization in Ukraine's solar industry, bringing together investors in industrial solar power plants, design companies, EPC contractors and developers of solar power plants, solar power plant service companies, equipment manufacturers, distributors and installers of small solar power systems, legal and consulting firms specializing in energy, insurance and transportation companies, companies involved in solar panel recycling, and owners of home solar power systems.
