KYIV - April 23, 2020. Recently, the UBA has launched an online project to discuss the latest practice of the Supreme Court.
Presently we have summed up the first results: what we have already discussed with the judges and what lies ahead.

Webinar 1. Olena Kibenko and Vitaliy Urkevych, judges of the Grand Chamber of the Supreme Court were the first speakers within our project. Mr. Urkevych spoke about the nuances of Supreme Court functioning and detailed the definition of the jurisdiction of corporate disputes. Olena Kibenko chose one of the most controversial topics. She spoke about the new approaches of the Supreme Court to resolving corporate disputes. In addition, the judge considered a number of rulings, which, according to her, actually formed a new direction in the development of judicial practice.
Webinar 2. Oleksandra Yanovska, Judge of the Grand Chamber of the Supreme Court, Doctor of Law, Professor, told the participants of the webinar about the principles of adversarial proceedings in the judicial practice of the Grand Chambers of the Supreme Court and the Cassation Criminal Court, and the peculiarities of its implementation at each stage.
Webinar 3. The speaker of the third online meeting was Vsevolod Knyazev, Secretary of the Grand Chamber of the Supreme Court. He spoke about the criteria for delimitation of judicial jurisdiction in the practice of the Supreme Court and explained why we need delimitation all and how to implement it. At the end of the webinar, participants had the opportunity to post questions and receive answers from the speaker.

Webinar 4. Tomorrow, on April 24, Judge of the Supreme Court Dmytro Hudyma will talk about the application of the case law of the European Court of Human Rights in the national judicial practice in criminal proceedings.
Webinar 5. On April 28, we will talk about the practice of the Commercial Court of Cassation in the Supreme Court on land disputes together with Yuriy Chumak, Judge of the Judicial Chamber for land relations and property rights of the Commercial Court of Cassation in the Supreme Court.
Webinar 6. On April 30, Rasim Babanli, Head of the Department of Legal Analytical and Legal Work of the Supreme Court, Doctor of Law, will introduce us the application of the case law of the European Court of Human Rights in national judicial practice in criminal proceedings.
Webinar 7 "Cassation Filters in Civil Cases". On May 14, Dmytro Luspenyk, Secretary of the Plenum of the Supreme Court, will talk about the pros and cons of recent legislative changes and the practice of European legislation.
Webinar 8 and one of the most relevant topics in the current environment - bankruptcy. On May 21, Serhiy Zhukov, a judge of the Judicial Chamber for the consideration of bankruptcy cases of the Commercial Court of Cassation within the Supreme Court, will consider case law in such cases and the available opportunities for the debtor and creditors.
Webinar 9. Finally, on May 28, we will have a webinar with Volodymyr Kravchuk, Judge of the Administrative Court of Cassation of the Supreme Court.
