KYIV - May 23, 2019. Representatives from the American Bar Association completed a three-day visit to Ukraine. In the course of the official visit, they met with judges of the Supreme Court of Ukraine, law faculty students and took part in the round table on regulating the legal profession and ethics.
The three-day visit, co-sponsored by Sayenko Kharenko and MORIS GROUP, resulted in strengthening ties between the American Bar Association and the Ukrainian Bar Association. UBA and ABA agreed to continue close cooperation.
"I am very glad that I have the opportunity to communicate with lawyers and discuss common issues that touch the most important global legal challenges and require joint positions. It's not just what lawyers do, but how they can cope with such challenges," - Robert Brown, Chair, ABA Section of International Law quoted as saying.
"It's great that we have more and more opportunities to share experiences with foreign colleagues. By engaging in international disputes, I can confirm that the challenges and problems facing the judiciary are largely the same in different countries. Such an exchange of experience here is particularly valuable", - stressed Volodymyr Yaremko, partner at Sayenko Kharenko.
