On 17 December 2009 in Kiev the Association of Advocates of Ukraine (AAU) with the support of the Ukrainian Bar Association (UBA) celebrated the professional holiday – Advocates Day.

The President of the Association of Advocates of Ukraine Olga Dmitrieva opened the ceremony stressing the importance of communication between the professionals, which proves to be so necessary for every advocate. “By bringing together advocates, we are doing everything possible to make them feel a powerful community” - Olga Dmitrieva was quoted as saying. Also during the celebration the President of the Association of Judges of Ukraine Oleg Prysiazhnyuk addressed his congratulations to the advocates.

During the celebration the most active AAU members were awarded. The advocates shared their congratulations, recent news and plan for the coming year.
